JReg is a UK-based company that works with clients globally. This policy is written primarily to meet our obligations under UK and EU ePrivacy law. Regardless of where you are visiting from, the same controls apply to you.
Under the UK and EU Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), we are required to tell you about the cookies we use and to obtain your consent before placing any that are not strictly necessary. Under the UK and EU GDPR, we are also required to be transparent about how we process personal data through cookies. This policy fulfils both obligations.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. Cookies let a site recognise your device, remember your choices, and understand how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as browser storage, perform comparable functions. In this policy we refer to all of them collectively as cookies.
Cookies can be first party, meaning they are set directly by jreg.co.uk, or third party, meaning they are set by another organisation whose service we use on our site. The security cookies above store your IP address to carry out a security check. We include this for transparency. Your IP address is used only for the duration of that check and is not stored or used for any other purpose. These cookies are placed without your consent because they are technically necessary to keep the site secure.
Your consent preference is stored in the cookie_notice_accepted cookie. After the period, the cookie banner will reappear and we will ask for your preference again.
Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. They are not strictly necessary, so we place them only if you accept cookies using our banner. We use Google Analytics to collect information about visitor numbers, pages viewed, and how people navigate through the site. This information is used to produce aggregated reports. It does not directly identify you.

Third party services we use
Tidio live chat. Provided by Tidio LLC. Tidio operates in GDPR mode on our site. When in use, it loads a live chat widget and may set its own cookies or use browser storage to support the chat function. Calendly. When you click “Book a meeting”, you are taken to a scheduling page hosted on Calendly’s own domain (calendly.com), not on jreg.co.uk. Cookies set on that page are set by Calendly on its own domain, not by JReg. They are outside our control and governed by Calendly’s own consent tool. How to manage or withdraw your consent
When you first visit the site, our cookie banner lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies. We use analytics cookies only if you accept.
You can change your mind at any time in two ways:
- Use the Revoke cookie consent button in the footer of every page to review and update your choice.

Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing that took place before you withdrew it. Blocking or deleting some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
Our website does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals. You can manage your preferences using our cookie banner or browser settings as described above.
Your rights and how to complain
Where cookies process personal data (for example, where your IP address is stored in a security cookie or where an analytics cookie assigns an identifier to your device), data protection law gives you rights in relation to that data. These include the right to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold about you, the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and in some circumstances the right to receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
